FAQ About Our Portable Barrel Sauna
Where can you set up the sauna?
Anywhere that’s relatively flat and accessible—driveways, yards, trailside clearings, and lakeside pull-ins are all great. If you’re unsure, just ask!
How hot does it get?
Typical sauna temps range from 160–200°F, with the option to toss water and essential oils on the rocks for extra steam (löyly).
How many people can join?
Our barrel saunas comfortably seat 4–6 people, depending on how cozy you want to get.
Do I need experience to use it?
Not at all. We give you a quick tutorial on using the stove, layering heat and cold, and staying hydrated. Great for first-timers and seasoned sauna-goers alike.
Do you operate year-round?
Yes! Snowy evenings, chilly spring mornings, golden autumn days—Alaska was made for sauna season.
